England Premier League

Playing

What is Scorrectly?

Each gameweek you predict Premier League results by placing tokens on the outcomes you think will happen. The better your picks, the more points you score and the higher you climb the leaderboard.

How many tokens do I get?

Exactly 100 tokens for each gameweek. Tokens can only be used in the gameweek they belong to: any you don't place are lost when the gameweek finishes, and they don't carry over to the next one.

What do 1, X and 2 mean?

1 is a home win, X is a draw and 2 is an away win. Each one has a multiplier, for example 1.80.

How are points worked out?

If the outcome you picked happens, you score your tokens × its multiplier. If it doesn't, that pick scores 0. For example, 20 tokens on a home win at 1.80 scores 36 points if the home team wins.

Can I put tokens on more than one outcome in the same match?

Yes. You can back 1, X and 2 in the same match if you like, and spread your tokens across as many matches as you want. Only one outcome of each match can happen, so "max points" counts just your best pick in each match.

When do picks close?

Picks on each match close 1 minute before its kick-off, and every time on the site is UK time. Until then you can add, change or remove picks on that match; remember to press Save picks. Matches close one at a time, so you can keep tokens back for later matches in the gameweek.

What's the difference between Save and Submit?

Save picks keeps your picks, and you can still change saved picks on any match until it closes. Submit locks in all your picks for the gameweek: after submitting you can't change any of them, even on matches that haven't kicked off yet. You'll be asked to confirm first.

You don't have to submit. Saved picks count just the same; submitting simply locks them so they can't be changed by accident.

If a match closes before you've saved a change to it, that change is undone and your saved picks on it stand. Picks you haven't saved yet are marked Not saved yet.

Can I change my picks on more than one device?

Yes, but use one at a time. If you save on your phone and then try to save older picks from your laptop (or another tab), the second save is stopped so it doesn't overwrite the first. You'll see your latest saved picks and can make your changes again.

Can the multipliers change?

Rarely. An admin may adjust a multiplier before a match kicks off, and you'll always see the latest one. Once a match has kicked off its multipliers are fixed, and your points are worked out with the multiplier in place when the result is entered.

Results and postponements

When are results and points updated?

An admin enters each result once the match is over. Your points and the leaderboard update straight away.

What happens if a match is postponed?

You'll see a message on your picks page (and get an email). Any tokens you leave on the postponed match are settled automatically as if the favourite won: the outcome with the lowest multiplier.

If you'd rather use them on a different match, take them off the postponed match and place them on another match in the same gameweek that hasn't closed yet, then press Save picks. You can take tokens off a postponed match but not add any. If you'd already submitted your picks, they're unlocked so you can do this.

What's left on the match is settled when the gameweek ends, or sooner if the admin settles it. If there are no other matches left to play (for example, the last match of the gameweek is postponed), it's settled straight away. Occasionally the admin may instead make a postponed match void: its picks are removed and the tokens given back to place on another open match.

The admin's decision on postponed matches is final.

Leaderboard and accounts

Can I see other players' picks?

You can always see the leaderboard and your own picks. Other players' picks stay hidden until the gameweek has ended; after that you can tap any player on the leaderboard to see what they picked.

Where can I see how I did in earlier gameweeks?

On My results. It shows where you finished in every gameweek you've played once it has ended, with your points and your best finish each season.

When does a gameweek end?

When the admin ends it, or automatically when the next gameweek goes live.

What emails will I get?

Only a few, all about the game. When you create your account, one with a link to confirm your email address (you can sign in once you've opened it). After that: one when a new gameweek goes live, a reminder 12 hours before its first match kicks off (only if you haven't placed all your tokens or submitted), and one if a match you have tokens on is postponed. If you forget your password, we'll also email you a link to choose a new one.

I've forgotten my password. What do I do?

On the Sign in page, tap Forgotten your password? and enter your email. We'll email you a link to choose a new password. The link works for 2 hours and only once. Check your junk folder if it doesn't arrive within a few minutes.

Can admins play?

No. Admins set the multipliers and enter the results, so admin accounts can't place picks. An admin who wants to play needs a separate user account with a different email address.

Who has the final say?

The admins. Their decisions on results, postponed matches and how a match is settled are final.
